Rewards program for the environment

EcoUnit's mission is to connect companies with eco-aware consumers in order to accelerate the introduction of more sustainable products and services. By rewarding participating consumers with EcoUnit credits, we also enable individuals to embrace the environment as a cause. Companies are simple: they want to sell products to consumers. But consumers are multi-dimensional, and how environmental and sustainability issues impact their buying decisions varies by person, place, and priorities. EcoUnit gives a voice to the consumer in order to help companies develop more environmentally-friendly, more sustainable products and services.

EcoUnit provides an extra motivation to consumers so that they will guide marketers and help them better understand the interests of the eco-aware consumer. Our model calls for a large portion of every project to be earmarked specifically for the environment. We do this in the form of EcoUnit credits, which can be redeemed for carbon offsets, tree planting, habitat preservation, and various other green products and causes. So not only are you contributing to a better world by helping companies design more eco-friendly products and services, you earn credits that help the environment each time you participate.

We welcome all comers! Marketers need to understand the interests and motivations of all people - from "dark greens" to the emerging "light green" masses. Depending on their stage of development and the products or services that they are developing, a marketer may derive the most benefit from interacting with a specific segment of the EcoUnit community. We will ask you to classify yourself so that we can match you most appropriately. In the end, everyone's contributions are important, because the health of our planet is at stake.

We're proud to be working with all of you — people who care enough to take a few minutes out of your day so that we can have a healthier planet. If you have questions or comments, please email to service@ecounit.com. To learn more about EcoUnit, please visit our blog at ecounit.com/blog.
